Alan Turing, the man who cracked the German Enigma machine and who is considered the father of computer science would have been 100 today. Instead we lost him when he was 41 and took his own life rather than be persecuted by society for his homosexuality. I can only try to imagine what we’ve deprived ourselves of by cutting our time with this genius short.
